Before purchasing a fondue pot or fondue set there are some questions you should ask yourself. Such as; what type of fondue will I be making and how many people will I be serving.

Individual fondue pots: If you are only going to be making one type of fondue such as cheese or chocolate an individual fondue pot may be your best bet. These fondue pots are relatively inexpensive. Also for cheese or chocolate fondues you only need fondue forks to accompany your pot. With these types of fondue there is not need for dipping bowls.

Fondue sets: Fondue sets are ideal for those who plan on making more than one style of fondue. They are also great for people making broth or oil fondues. Many fondue sets come with more than one type of pot as well as fondue forks, bowls for dipping sauces and serving dishes.

Lazy Susan sets: These sets are great for oil or broth fondues. The set includes fondue forks, a fork guide to keep forks organized, a rotating base for easy access to dipping sauces, and bowls for dipping sauces.
