Fondue is relatively easy to prepare and always a fun way to eat. Keep these tips in mind when making fondue.
• Always thoroughly read directions before using a fondue pot.
• When making fondue it’s best to first warm or cook it on your stove top then transfer it to the burner.
• Never refill a fuel source while it is already burning.
• Don’t move a fondue pot while the heat source is burning.
• Remember to have other food available to guests when serving fondue. If you are preparing a cheese or meat fondue you can use that as your main dish and have side dishes to accompany it.
• Try not to overdue the fondue. An example being, don’t serve a cheese fondue, a meat fondue and a chocolate fondue. Choose one style and prepare the rest of your meal around that fondue choice. Your other dishes should compliment the fondue.
• When adding more fuel to a burner be sure not to over fill the container.
