To get a glimpse of the real estate market in Kentucky, you can look at individual examples of areas throughout the state and see how they’re faring. Following is a list that demonstrates several different cities which represent a variety of types of cities in Kentucky, and their current real estate markets.
• Lexington. This city has had a tradition of a steadily growing real estate market, and this tradition has continued over the last several months.
• Central Kentucky. Considered a great place to invest your money in real estate. Current prices are low, and the market is rising.
• Louisville. This area has seen a bit of a drop in sales rates from last year. More homes are on the market with fewer sellers, and the interest rates – though currently fairly low – are slowly rising.
• Georgetown. This is a very desirable place to live, evidenced by the high demand for homes but only a few available. The Georgetown real estate market is currently very strong.
