• The Westin Europa and Regina: This is one of Venice’s most coveted hotels. It is located on the Grand Canal and encompasses 5 restored buildings that are linked together and date back to 17th and 19th centuries. Everything Venice has to offer is located close by the hotel. Some guest rooms have wonderful views of the Grand Canal and each one is decorated in traditional Venetian style. Hotel guests can enjoy a traditional Venetian meal in the on site restaurant or have a fun evening at the piano bar that is located on a terrace. Guest rooms have mini bars and even a phone in the bathroom. Other amenities that can be enjoyed at the Westin are fitness equipment, child care services, shoe shine service, garden, meeting rooms, banquet facilities, dry cleaning services, and currency exchange. Rooms at the Westin begin at $468 a night.
• San Clemente Palace Hotel and Resort: Located on a private island the San Clemente offers guests first class accommodations. Housed in a restored 17th century monastery the San Clemente is decorated in Venetian style. The hotels 200 guest rooms come stocked with mini bars and have bathrooms fit for a king with bathrobes, slippers, marble floors and counters, Etro toiletries, a music system and separate tub and shower facilities. The hotel offers 4 restaurants each with its own flare and specialty dishes. The hotel also has a spa that offers massages, facials, aromatherapy, body treatments, and hair and nail services. The health club has fitness equipment, steam room, sauna, and 2 spas; there are also 2 tennis courts, a golf course, outdoor pool, pool side bar, and gift shop. Activities that can be enjoyed at the hotel include jet skiing, fishing, parasailing, sailing, wind surfing, snorkeling, surfing, and boogie boarding. Rooms at the San Clemente begin at a nightly rate of $340.
• Ca’pisani Hotel Design: This is a newer hotel that is located in a 16th century palace and is near the Grand Canal and several area attractions such as the Peggy Guggenheim Museum. Guest rooms have a combined art deco and modern décor and come with mini bars, bathrobes, slippers, make-up mirrors, and bidets. La Rivista Restaurant provides guests a cozy ambiance with an original 1940’s bar and serves modern yet traditional Italian food. Other amenities offered at the Ca’pisani include dry cleaning service, bar and lounge, room service, shoe shine, breakfast services, currency exchange, and a nearby fitness center. Rooms begin at a nightly rate of $310.
• Hotel Gritti Palace: This hotel is located in a 16th century palazzo and is on the Grand Canal. The hotel is decorated in an Imperial decorating style with elegant and antique furniture. Guest rooms come with mini bars, marble bathrooms, bathrobes, slippers, and custom toiletries. Other amenities that hotel guests can enjoy include private boat service to the island of Lido, child care services, concierge, dry cleaning services, shoe shine, banquet facilities, wedding facilities, breakfast services, currency exchange, and room service. There are 2 restaurants to choose from at the Hotel Gritti Palace Club Del Dodge has a romantic atmosphere and is located on a terrace that overlooks the Grand Canal and serves Mediterranean and Venetian specialties. The Bar Longhi serves light menu items and cocktails. There are also boutiques located with in the hotel. Rooms at the Hotel Gritti Palace begin at a nightly rate of $599.
