If you have decided to stay in Rome for a short break or a yearly family holiday then I can honestly say you won’t be disappointed. With such a flourishing history, the accommodation for all its visitors are of the same standard and with excellent prices, you can definitely afford to let your hair down and enjoy yourself.

Look carefully for suitable accommodation because if located near major attractions, the price will almost certainly increase but if you have a hire car and can walk then I would suggest going a little further out and paying potentially a few hundred euros less on the overall price. The benefit of Rome is there are major bus routes scattered throughout the city so it is impossible to be stranded in the middle of nowhere.

If you are struggling to find suitable places to live, I can promise that you will find something but if you do have any questions then you could contact local tourist agencies but you will need to know Italian because whilst most do speak English, you will come across some that don’t.
