With such a varied and enlightening past, the history that Rome has to offer will never fail to amaze and whilst many of the original relics and memories have long gone, there are still little reminders of a great era that passed centuries ago.

The Romans were top of their game in engineering the future and many of their designs and roads still stand today because overall, they took their time and it is not often one cobbled street can withstand over 2000 years of hardwearing.

I highly recommend paying a visit to this romantic city and with so many things to see and do, you will not be disappointed.
