Lynching is something that happened throughout the United States and it consisted of an illegal execution of an accused person by a mob. The names originates from Charles Lynch who enforced tough justice throughout the Virginia area and unfortunately, this is one thing that stuck and many people lost their lives to lynching.

The last Lynching took place in 1907 in Charles City, Iowa and because of the brutality Lynching involved, the proper authorities soon took control of the situation to get this stopped although despite the legislation, unrecorded lynching still took place and whilst it is not in place today, the horror that some experienced during this frightful time will remain in the memories of those family members who lost loved ones to the dreadful form of punishment.
