This step cannot be emphasized enough. Here are steps that can help you set financial goals:
· Identify and write down your financial goals no matter they may be.
· Break your goals down into three different lengths of time: short-term (a year of less), mid-term (from 1 to 3 years), and long-term (4 or more years).
· Learn, learn, and learn some more. Read every magazine you can about saving money, investing, etc. One popular magazine is Money. This magazine has a lot of tips on money and how to save and invest.
· Keep evaluating your progress. Review your steps everyday to make sure you stay on track.
Just follow all these steps and techniques and you’ll find financial planning will be easier than you think. And you’ll be able to accomplish your financial goals.
