Most companies that offer free email accounts like Yahoo and Hotmail are offering sophisticated spam filters that will bring your email into a special bulk box. You can then go through that email at your leisure, or simply empty that without looking at the email. Warning though, some smaller email accounts that people have may unknowingly be placed into your junk, or bulk, mail because the account does not recognize it. Beware the false junk mail.
Companies like AOL, .Mac, or one of the other accounts that make you pay for an email account will have even better filters which will take into account these special considerations. Individual email accounts that are add-ons to build your own websites usually have comparable spam filters as well. If you feel this isn’t enough, you can always grab another spam filter that is free by searching spam blockers in your Internet browser. There are also better ones that are available for purchase and cane be found by typing in the same thing. Just find the one that suits your needs and wants better. One of the easiest things you can also do is to watch what websites you give your address to. Not every website needs your address, so only give it out to a website that has a good reputation or that you really want that newsletter from.
