If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. The possibility of earning millions of dollars by working only a few hours from home sounds amazing but is hardly believable. This is the number one way to keep you out of a scam of any type, and especially on the Internet.

Also there are two different bits of information that you should look for when you are on the website of a possible Internet scammer. The first information is contact information. Just an email account is not going to work when you are working with money. You just can’t trace it very well. Look for actual names of people, a phone number, and a street address. And then look into these names and phone numbers. Call the phone number and see what the response is. The second type of information that you should look for is a return or a type of satisfaction contract. Almost all legitimate businesses will include a stipulation on if you are satisfied or not. This goes for businesses offering jobs, items for sale, or possible donations.
