While many of the companies will be local auto insurance companies that are just for a certain state or even county - not that they don't cover you when you go outside the county but that they only have a staff large to service a certain number of people. The companies that we are going to focus on are four of the largest car insurance companies. The first is Progressive Insurance. Progressive has made a name for itself in the advertising field by their boasting as the "#1 Insurance Web Site." They are cheaper than a lot of other companies and give instant quotes of them and other companies in the area - even if their premium is going to be more expensive.
Another car insurance companies are Allstate. Allstate strives to place in you a feeling of safety because "You're in good hands with Allstate." They also want to personalize the insurance to each driver by their amount of options. The next is Geico car insurance. Geico is one of the largest insurers in the world and because of that can offer cheaper premiums than many of the other companies. The fourth is All State Insurance. Basing their company on hometown pride and work each office locally - bypassing a lot of the corporate red tape. All four of these companies actively compete with each other and other car insurance companies out there.
