Rotational Molding

Home » Industrial Equipment » Industrial Equipment » Rotational Molding

Rotational molding is a process used to create parts. It works by filling a hollow mold with a powder resin and then rotating the mold biaxially in an oven until the resin coats the inside of the mold and cures. When the mold cools, the part can be removed. Products created with rotational molding are known for their durability and strength. It is also a cost effective process since the tools used are thin, hollow shells and can be made from aluminum, mild steel, stainless steel, and nickel.
