Here is a look at the best hotel choices in each of five different price ranges.

Under $75

The Marten House Hotel
1801 W. 86th St.
Indianapolis

This fine hotel is the only three-star property to fall into this price range, which makes it a great choice. Located about ten minutes from both downtown and the airport, it offers outstanding amenities and customer service, including an indoor heated pool, a fitness center, and refrigerators and coffee makers in each room.

$76-$100

Wingate Inn
6300 Gateway Dr.
Plainfield, IN 46168

Located just off I-70, this beautiful hotel is just 15 minutes from downtown and even closer to the airport. Amenities include free local calls, newspaper delivery, and wired and wireless Internet access.

$101-$150

Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis South
4650 Southport Crossing Dr.
Indianapolis

Each room at this three-star hotel features a spacious sitting area, two phones, a large desk and free high speed Internet access. Other amenities include an indoor pool, meeting and fitness facilities, newspaper delivery, and a lobby lounge.

$151-$200

Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis Downtown
501 W. Washington St.
Indianapolis

Courtyard by Marriott are some of the most well-loved hotels anywhere, and it’s evident here in Indianapolis as you see the second appearance by one from this chain on our list. This one, still a three-star, is higher priced because of its downtown location. This hotel offers an amenity that is extremely rare for a downtown hotel: complimentary parking. They also house a TGI Friday’s and boast a 24-hour fitness facility, as well as easy access to the Convention Center, which is directly across the street.

Over $200

Canterbury Hotel
123 S. Illinois St.
Indianapolis

The Canterbury was featured at the beginning of this article as the best rated hotel in the downtown area. It also happens to be the best rated hotel in the entire state, and one of the best in the Midwest. With gorgeous European fixtures and architecture, The Canterbury is a registered historic landmark. It is easily the best choice for a hotel in this price range.
