Difficult people make your days less enjoyable, including your work. For some, having to be around difficult people produces such stress that they can neither concentrate on their job nor build enthusiasm for the tasks at hand. This is incredibly destructive to a work environment! These difficult people may also be important to the business, like a franchise player. An astute business person cannot allow the attitudes of the player to decrease their profitability. A good working relationship must be established in order to deal with the franchise player appropriately without letting their difficult manner harm you.

Franchise players have a unique relationship; the franchisor and the franchisee are constantly making each other money. The franchisor brings publicity and expertise to the table; they have a product which has proven experience in an established line of businesses. The franchisee, or the franchise buyer, provides the effort and time that is necessary to get and keep a business running and prospering. Because of this relationship, franchise players need one another and the work that each one does in order to keep their businesses running and profit coming in.

While you may never be able to directly change the attitudes of those difficult people that you encounter during the day, especially your franchise player, you can learn how to deal with them in such a way that you are still capable of doing your job well and keeping the business relationship intact. It is absolutely necessary, in order to be a successful entrepreneur, that you learn how to deal with difficult people when he or she is your franchise player.
