This afternoon, you may want to take a stroll down Nathan Road. Named for Governor Sir Matthew Nathan, this historic road runs directly up to Boundary Street. Although at the time of its construction, it was deemed unnecessary and was referred to as “Nathan’s Folly,” it is now one of the busiest commercial roads in Hong Kong. Along the road are numerous boutiques, camera shops, street markets, and restaurants.
Near Nathan’s Road is the Banana Leaf Curry House. Stop in here for delicious curries, satays, rice, and crispy parantha bread. You’ll be served on a banana leaf, but your experience will be high class.
