If you have a large projection TV and consequently have spent a large amount of money on it then you probably want a way to easily fix your TV. Fortunately most of the problems that arise with large projection TVs are that the projector bulbs have gone out. Just like any other light bulb, if a projection TV is used for large amounts of time for long hours of use then the bulb will probably burn out eventually. The first thing you need to do when your TV is working but no picture is coming out is check your projection bulb. The manual that came with your TV should be able to give you accurate information on how to check the condition of your bulb. Once you have figured out that your bulb has burn out or blown, you need to order a new one. Most retail locations may carry a small amount of bulbs in their stores but probably not have every single bulb out there. Contact the manufacturer of your bulb for a replacement. It will cost you some money but not nearly the amount of replacing a projection TV system. Bulbs can also be found by doing an Internet search for “replacement projector bulbs.” This will give you a wide variety of sites that may have a lower price than the manufacturer; just make sure that you know the model number of your television as well as the model number of the bulb if you can find it.
