HDTVs can be purchased at almost any electronics store, such as Best Buy or Ultimate Electronics. Some can also be purchased at stores that have electronic departments, such as department stores like* J.C. Penny’s or Dillard’s* and Wal-Mart. A person who is interested in purchasing a high definition television could also browse the Internet for web sites online that are selling HDTVs. There are a few good deals to be found on the Internet, however, a buyer should beware that it is much easier to be fooled by purchasing something off of the Internet than from an electronics store or department store. The history of the television would be impossible to know for sure; therefore, it would be impossible to know the quality of the television the buyer would be purchasing. A smart consumer might research and try to figure out the size and model of high definition television that is desired. Then the potential buyer should browse around and find a price range that he/she is willing to spend on a HDTV. Then, once the consumer knows what he/she wants, they should go to an electronics store or department store and look at actual models of the televisions with the intent of possibly purchasing one.
