More information on high definition televisions can be obtained from multiple sources. The first source to check would be the Internet. Conducting a little research on the product you are looking at purchasing on your own is always a good idea. By doing this you have some idea of what exactly you want before you ever go to buy it. This almost eliminates the possibility of you getting talked into buying something you do not necessarily need or even want. The second source to check out would be the staff at an electronics store of the employees of the electronics department at a department store. Just be sure to make it known that you are just looking at that time and have no intention of purchasing anything. The staff or employees should have a wealth of knowledge on this topic because electronics would be their area of expertise. A third source of information would be friends or family who already own a high definition television. You would be able to get a first hand account from someone who actually owned a HDTV and was not biased in their viewpoint. They would tell their honest opinion on the product and how satisfied they were with the quality.
