Sony has just unveiled a new definitive line of HTS called the Sony MHC-GX470. The system features 20-cm subwoofer and hybrid dual woofers. In addition, Sony provides audio and PC inputs at the front, enabling the system to connect more readily connected to external devices and MP3 capability.

And at $200, this mini-system is pretty darn affordable.

The trend here seems to be moving toward smaller and more powerful systems, which is nice for us bachelors who live in 300 sq. ft. apartments. MP3 compatibility is also a boon, since so many people download or have a player.
