The Home Entertainment Show 2006, running June 1–4 at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Los Angeles, is only weeks away. Here is a sampling of some of the giveaways and special events that will take place at the Show. Several of these should be of particular interest to home theater enthusiasts.

Sit back and relax for a great Home Theater event within HE2006. The editors of Home Theater magazine will present a showing of a classic movie on Friday night, June 2, at 7pm in the Grand Ballroom. Enjoy the best surround-sound and projection equipment, just as you would your own in-home system—only here, you get to see what it looks like with 400 guests! Come have some popcorn and enjoy the show. Available free to the first 400 ticket holders. Tickets available at registration.
