• Sonoma wood desk: This type of desk is made of maple and includes a roll-out keyboard shelf, deep bottom shelf to put your computer, and an adjustable top shelf. It is made of composite woods that are given a laminated finish to give it that classic look. The desk is smaller than the glass desk being it is only 29 inches high but it is wider at 48 inches wide. You can also purchase a matching hutch separate or as a set. This desk starts out at $170. If you want to buy the desk and hutch together the price is about $219.

• West Village desks: If you are looking for a desk that has multi-purposes, this desk has it. Besides the stylish black oat finish, this desk doubles as a writing desk, in that the keyboard tray can be pulled out and used to hold a keyboard or can be used as a utility drawer. You can also adjust the shelves and remove them at will. What is different from this one to the Sonoma wood desk is the hutch is included in the price. Not as an extra expense. The West Village desk measures at 53.5 inches wide and 51 inches high. The price is not bad at $270.

• Legare desks: Unlike other computer desks, this desk is so much easier to work with. It is easy to put together. On average you can put one computer desk together within three minutes. And what is good about it, you don’t need any tools. The desk comes in Baltic Birch with a clear finish. The price range goes from $269 up to $469.

No matter which desk you get the bottom line for you is to be able to work in comfort with convenience, better organization, more productivity, and flexibility. The only difference between them is that some of the desks just provide a more stylish look over others, and perhaps more space savings.
