» What is the difference between a wine rack and a wine cellar?
A wine rack is basically a large bottle holder. The wine rack may be made out of various woods or metals. The wine rack is just the object used to hold the wine.
A wine cellar is a designated area for wine storage. A wine cellar is regulated by a wine cellar cooling unit that regulates temperature and humidity. It is typical to find wine racks in wine cellars, after all the wine has to be stored in or on something. Generally speaking a wine cellar is a small room or small unit resembling a humidor or small refrigerator.
