Wallpapering a room allows you to enhance the look of the room sometimes obtaining dramatic results. Wallpaper designs have drastically changed in the last 25 years. These days there are thousands of wallpaper patterns from which you can choose. Contemporary, traditional, textures, faux, folk art, children’s themes, sports themes, country, and French toile are just some of the designs available to you today. You could literally spend days just deciding on the paper that is right for your home. However, you will find once the paper is on the wall that it will have been worth the time and effort.
Wallpapering is not a particularly easy job to do. You must figure out how much paper is needed for a room, prepare the walls, and match up patterns. There are several steps to wallpapering and we will try to cover them as much as possible in this article.
You can also install wallpaper borders. Borders can be applied as a compliment to wallpaper or on painted walls to add an extra touch. Many wallpaper patterns come with a coordinating border. Borders are relatively easy to apply.
