Maintaining the space

An organized and functioning closet can be very rewarding. Hanging space is maximized with short-hanging and long-hanging space. Shelving is appropriately spaced. Shoe racks, tie racks and belt racks provide organization for all those items. A messy closet is transformed into an organized, neat, well-proportioned space. However, it will not last long if the user does not change his or her behavior. It is essential that the user put clothes back where they belong, placing shoes on the shoe rack, hanging belts on the hooks, etc. Otherwise the closet returns to its prior state of clothes piled on the floor, shoes in disarray, and belts strewn across the mess. Ultimately, the way to maintain the newly organized closet is to make the commitment to put things away in the place designated at the time the space was organized. Only then will the work you have invested have lasting results.

Review your closet and your system of keeping it organized at regular intervals in the future. Ask yourself if this system is still working for you. If not, you can change your habits and/or modify your system so that it works best with your personality. Whenever possible, modify your system to match your personality. You will stay far more organized and continue to be pleased with the results of your closet organization make-over.
