» What types of candle holders are there?
No matter the kind of candle you have, there is a holder to be had to go with it. Here are some of the varieties available:
· Votive holders—A votive candle is a small candle and usually needs a container to burn in.
· Tea-light holders—These are similar to votives, only much smaller.
· Candlestick holders—Holders designed with the express purpose of supporting a candlestick.
· Pillar holder—Another name for these is column holder. These holders support freestanding candles that do not require an enclosed container when they burn.
· Multi-purpose—There are a few candle holders that double in their functional use. Turned one way, they are a candlestick holder. Turned the other way, they act as a pillar holder.
· Ball holder—These are similar to a pillar holder, but they have a spike in their centers to hold a sphere-shaped candle firmly in place.
· Floater bowls—These holders are bowls that hold water for the type of candle that floats.
