Workwear and office type scrubs come in a variety of colors, cuts and styles, with gender- and workplace-specific designs, whereas surgical scrubs are usually offered in an eye-friendly green, with variations of blue and white.
Scrub pants are either elastic waist or drawstring style, with tops offering a comfortable v-neck opening. Most scrubs are also short-sleeved, allowing for a good range of motion and comfort when working. Scrub tops and bottoms may have pockets for keeping certain items handy.
