• Cases - There are a wide variety of PDA cases to protect your PDA from being damaged. If you are especially hard on your electronics, you may want to consider one of the metal or rubber cases.
• Chargers - Most PDAs come with wall chargers but you can buy car chargers if you are on the road a lot.
• Keyboards - Adding a keyboard to your PDA is an option you may want to consider if you want to send e-mails or do a significant amount of note taking. There are several keyboards that can be plugged-into the PDA if your PDA does not come with a built-in keyboard.
• Headphones - Many models come with standard stereo jacks allowing you to connect headphones to your PDA. Some of the higher-end models are able to block outside noises so that you only hear what is being played from your PDA.
• Software - There is a wide variety of software packages available for PDAs. You can purchase software for creating documents, spreadsheets, and slide shows. There is software to track business expenses and mileage. You can purchase foreign language software such as EasyTalk, which can be helpful when traveling internationally. PalmPak Dictionary/Thesaurus Card offers an expansion card that slips in and out of the PDA expansion slot giving you the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, Tenth Edition and the Franklin Thesaurus at your fingertips. Looking for a good restaurant, having the 2002 Zagat Survey Restaurant and Nightlife Guide on your PDA allows you to browse restaurants in 32 cities by criteria such as Best Buys or Most Popular. There are also several mapping programs that help to keep you from getting lost by allowing you to map out your destinations.
