Get ready to travel further into Guyana with a day trip to the Timberhead Rainforest Resort. Another option for day three is the Iwokrama Canopy Walkway. The walkway is made up of a series of suspension bridges that give you a great view of the rainforest and Maipa mountain range. While on the walkway you can view flora and vegetation important to Guyana and animals such as the jaguar. Again, you can set up a day or overnight trip through Wilderness Explorers. Once there, fees to enter the Iwokrama Canopy Walkway are around $18 per person. Overnight fees range from $70-90 and include hammock accommodations and three meals.
