Since Gibson and Fender perfected the premise, other companies have added their take on the electric guitar, giving it many sizes, shapes, and uses. Like all instruments, you get what you pay for with electric guitars. Don’t expect to overly enjoy a guitar that only cost you $50. You will have to spend a little bit of cash to have a set-up you will enjoy. Every electric guitar must have an amp to make it sing. Be sure to match them wisely, giving a nice guitar a nice voice. If you have doubts about whether to start out on acoustic or electric be sure to know your musical needs. There is really no right or wrong answer to that dilemma, it really based on the song in your heart.
