Guatemala is called "The Land of Eternal Spring" because it has great weather all year round. There are two seasons in Guatemala, the dry season from mid August thru April and the wet season from May to mid August.

Guatemala is approximately the size of Tennessee and is the northernmost nation of Central America. The country consists of three main regions—the cool highlands with the heaviest population, the tropical area along the Pacific and Caribbean coasts, and the tropical jungle in the northern lowlands known as the Petén.

Guatemala has many interesting places to visit. The more popular places to visit are Antigua Guatemala, Chichicastenango, Guatemala City, Panajachel and Tikal.
