On day two head south through the hills of eastern Elis to Pylos located on the Messenian coast. Pylos is a beautiful town found on the west end of the Peloponese. Tour the Palace of Nestor at Ano Englianos, a Late Bronze Age site associated with the renowned king who was thought to be the wisest of the Greek heroes who battled during the Trojan War. In the evening, take a walk through the narrow streets of Pylos, and then relax in the town square.
