The focus of the itinerary concentrates the majority of the time on taking in the city’s most notorious, ancient sights such as the Acropolis. Day one focuses on the Acropolis and such wonders such as the Parthenon and the Temple of Athena Nike. The afternoon is spent in the infamous Plaka district. Day two is spent exploring the Agora, the marketplace of ancient Athens. In the afternoon, rest in Syntagma Square to watch the changing of the Evzone guards in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The final day is spent touring the National Archaeological Museum as well as the National Gardens. One thing is for certain: this trip to Athens is not one you will soon forget.
