The collections within the museum represent all the cultures that thrived in Greece. The Museum features artifacts and art from the Minoans. These ancient tribe peoples were once the dominant controllers of the Aegean Sea.
In the late afternoon, take a walk through the National Gardens of Athens. This splendid oasis provides visitors a welcomed respite from the busy city. Pack a picnic lunch and stroll through the duck ponds as you enjoy the day outside.
Spend your last evening dining in a local taverna near the Panathenaic Stadium. The Stadium looks brilliant lit up at night, and provides the perfect ending to a vacation in Athens.
