On day four, leave Delphi for an interesting trip through central Greece to the town of Kalambaka and eventually onto Meteora. Spend the day in the small town of Kalambaka, at the plain of Thessaly. Kalambaka is located at the foot of the grandiose gray rocks where the Pinios River streams down from the Pindus range. While in Kalambaka visit the cathedral church of the Dormition of the Virgin. Also, explore the Vytouma Monastery, located on a picturesque landscape near Peristera village.
