Most air travelers fly into Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and catch one of many connecting flights into Savannah. The city is also easily accessed by car. Travel is approximately 250 miles from Atlanta, 110 miles from Charleston, South Carolina, and 275 miles from Orlando, Florida. Once you arrive in Savannah, you can park your car permanently if you plan to contain your visit to the downtown Historic District. It is small and easily walk-able. And in Savannah, leisurely strolling under the canopy of mossy trees is half the fun.
