» Where should I put my Game Tables?
Many homeowners use their game table(s) as the centerpiece of a game room. A game room, which often is also a den or a basement, is a large room with one or more game tables, as well as (perhaps) a television, refrigerator, and seating area. If you want to use your game table in a game room, however, remember to consider your space dimensions, so that no one is ever hit by a pool cue or a table tennis paddle.
Of all these game tables, table tennis is the only one that is regularly played outside. Ping-pong tables are the largest game tables, so it is unlikely that you will have room for a table in your home, but fortunately, the fold up, so they are easy to store in the garage or elsewhere until you want to play.
Finally, many people purchase game tables for other locations than their homes. Churches, Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs, community centers, and for-profit “play zones” all use game tables. Regardless of where your game table is, however, you can use it as a gathering place; in this way, both competitors and spectators can gather to enjoy time together.
