First of all, you could move to a table hockey-loving country such as Sweden, Finland, Russia, and Canada. The 2005 World Championships occurred in Riga, Latvia, and featured players from twenty-two countries. Sweden’s Hans Österman eventually took home the crown.

If you’re not ready to move to Europe, you could contact the International Table Hockey Federation to see if there is a league in your area. Table hockey is more popular in the northern United States than in the south, but cities from Boston to Nashville have clubs that play regularly.

Chances are, however, you’re not ready to join a league; you just want to play dome hockey for fun. If that is the case, check out your local arcade. Bowling alleys or entertainment centers that have items such as pool tables, foosball tables, video games, and darts, are likely spots for dome hockey as well. Get a friend and go check it out; most arcade dome hockey games only cost about fifty cents to play.
