·        Warranty issues:       Most mattresses come with fantastic warranties, but you need to be sure that purchasing a mattress without its companion Box Springs will not cause you to forfeit any or all of your warranty.
·        Comfort:   Believe it or not, an old Box Springs really doesn’t have the “oomph” that it should! So even though that beautiful and plush mattress will be comfy, it would actually be better with its new, matching Box Spring! They really aren’t just useless things to make your bed sit higher!
·        Longevity:                   Using an old Box Springs with a new mattress can affect the life of your mattress. Since the purpose of a Box Spring is to support the mattress, if that support is faulty or diminished in any way, then you can be assured that your mattress will have a short-lived life in the land of “sleepy town!” Back to the old foundation of a house analogy, bad foundation equals big issues with your house!
