» Bean Bag Refill Materials
If your bean bag seems a little flat then it’s time to refill the material inside. There are a few different choices when it comes to what you put inside your bean bag. They include:
· Polystyrene Beads: Also referred to as “Virgin” beads. The pellets are made of styrofoam and are perfectly smooth and round. It is extremely durable and tends to last longer than other materials which make it more expensive than other fillers.
· Recycled: If you are concerned about the environment this filling is the way to go. Recycled filling comes from reground larger pieces of styrofoam. It has not been used prior to being in your bean bag. This filling is better for the environment. The majority of bean bags on the market are filled with this material.
· Mixed Filling: This type of filling is a mix between Virgin and Recycled beads. It is durable and provides a high level of comfort.
