There is no wonder why Paris is such a popular vacation destination for people all over the world. The city has so much to offer there is something for everyone. Listed below are some of the best that Paris has to offer:
 
·        The Louvre: The Louvre Museum is one of the most famous museums in the world. The building the Louvre occupies was once a royal palace and makes the museum the largest in the world. The Louvre is home to several priceless pieces of art such as Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. The museum implemented a policy of no picture taking inside the premises in 2005. Admission prices for the museum are as follows: $10.50 for admission into the museums permanent exhibitions; $10.50 for admission into the museums temporary exhibitions; or $15.75 for admission into all exhibitions at the museum. ·        Disneyland Paris: What’s a vacation with out Minnie and Mickey? The Disneyland Paris has a world of fun and adventure waiting inside its walls. Disneyland Paris has several different parks each one with its own special theme. The parks at Disneyland Paris include Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Discoveryland. The park has all the traditional Disney rides as well as some unique attractions. There are parades, special shops, and restaurants located through out the park. Admission ticket prices are as follows: $32 for an adult one day pass, $42 for a children’s (ages 3-11) one day pass, $115 for an adult 2 day park hopper pass, $94 for a children’s (ages 3-11) 2 day park hopper pass, $138 for an adult 3 day park hopper pass, and $113 for a children’s (ages 3-11) 3 day park hopper pass. ·        Cite des Sciences at de I’Industrie: This attraction has over 2.5 million visitors each year. The Cite is an interactive science museum that offers exhibits, an aquarium, planetarium, submarine, lectures, movies, and also children’s activities. Admission is $9 for adults and children over the age of 7, children under 7 are free. There may also be separate charges to get into separate parts of the museum such as the planetarium, aquarium, submarine, and cinemas certain areas are free of charge on different days. ·        Eiffel Tower: Built between the years of 1887 and 1889 the Eiffel Tower is one of France’s most recognizable features and draws over 5 million visitors each year. The tower is used today for both radio and television transmission. There are two restaurants located with in the Eiffel Tower also. Admission prices for the Eiffel Tower are: $5 for adult admission to the 1st floor; $3 for children ages 3-11 admission to the 1st floor; $9.50 for adult admission to the 1st and 2nd floors, $5 for children ages 3-11 admission to the 1st and 2nd floors; and $13.50 for adult admission to the top, $7.50 for children ages 3-11 admission to the top. ·        Notre Dame de Paris: This beautiful cathedral whose name means Our Lady of Paris in French is a popular tourist attraction. The cathedral is still used as a Roman Catholic cathedral and is home to the archbishop of Paris.
·        Shopping: Paris is a shopper’s dream destination. The city offers everything from chic boutiques to Haute Couture. Some of the shops located in Paris include Louis Vuitton, Missoni, Chloe, Hermés, Chanel, Dior, Cartier, Yves Saint Laurent, and Givenchy. The city also offers several luxurious department stores such as Galeries Lafayette and Printemps
·        Champs-Élysées: The Champs- Élysées is one of the most famous avenues in the entire world. The avenue is home to cinemas, cafes, theatres, restaurants, and luxury shopping.
·         Arc de Triomphe: Located at the western end of the Champs- Élysées the Arc de Triomphe is a beautiful monument that is located in the center of Place de I’Étoile. The monument is more than 51 meters high and 45 meters wide. 
·        Les Invalides: The Les Invalides is a cluster of buildings that was originally built to house elderly and sick French soldiers. Today the Les Invalides is still a hospital for disabled war veterans and also houses a chapel, courtyards, a retirement home, surgical center, military museum, and tombs. The tombs, museum, and the chapel are mainly what draw the tourists in. Buried in the tombs are several French war heroes among them Napoleon.
·        Musse d’Orsay: This museum is located in an old rail station. The Musse D’Orsay has one of the best collections of impressionist art in the world. Admission into the museum is $9. The museum also has 4 restaurants where visitors can dine on buffets or menu items such as salads, sandwiches, and snacks.
