There are so many wonderful things to see and do while in Paris it’s hard to know where to start. Listed below are a few of the must see attractions and must do activities while in the city.
· The Louvre: The Louvre Museum is one of the most famous museums in the world. The building the Louvre occupies was once a royal palace and makes the museum the largest in the world. The Louvre is home to several priceless pieces of art such as Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. The museum implemented a policy of no picture taking inside the premises in 2005. Admission prices for the museum are as follows: $10.50 for admission into the museums permanent exhibitions; $10.50 for admission into the museums temporary exhibitions; or $15.75 for admission into all exhibitions at the museum. · Centre Pompidou: The Centre Pompidou has become a very popular attraction in Paris. The design of the building alone is a sight in itself but it is home to modern pieces of art as well as cinema’s and exhibits. Located in the center of Paris the Centre Pompidou has the following admission prices: Museum and exhibits $12 for adults, 18 and under admitted free; Cinema’s $5.50 for adults and children. · Notre Dame de Paris: This beautiful cathedral whose name means Our Lady of Paris in French is a popular tourist attraction. The cathedral is still used as a Roman Catholic cathedral and is home to the archbishop of Paris.
· Eiffel Tower: Built between the years of 1887 and 1889 the Eiffel Tower is one of France’s most recognizable features and draws over 5 million visitors each year. The tower is used today for both radio and television transmission. There are two restaurants located with in the Eiffel Tower also. Admission prices for the Eiffel Tower are: $5 for adult admission to the 1
st floor; $3 for children ages 3-11 admission to the 1
st floor; $9.50 for adult admission to the 1
st and 2
nd floors, $5 for children ages 3-11 admission to the 1

· Champs-Élysées: The Champs- Élysées is one of the most famous avenues in the entire world. The avenue is home to cinemas, cafes, theatres, restaurants, and luxury shopping.
· Arc de Triomphe: Located at the western end of the Champs- Élysées the Arc de Triomphe is a beautiful monument that is located in the center of Place de I’Étoile. The monument is more than 51 meters high and 45 meters wide.
· Shopping: Paris is a shopper’s dream destination. The city offers everything from chic boutiques to Haute Couture. Some of the shops located in Paris include Louis Vuitton, Missoni, Chloe, Hermés, Chanel, Dior, Cartier, Yves Saint Laurent, and Givenchy. The city also offers several luxurious department stores such as Galeries Lafayette and Printemps
