In terms of tourist attractions, France exists in two parts: Paris and everywhere else. It is true; Paris offers the vast majority of the most popular sites. The captivating activities in other parts of the country are more about enjoying rich meals, fine wines, and intriguing local residents. Those experiences are hard to describe in a travel article, but it doesn’t mean they are any less interesting or important for the American traveler. A well-rounded trip to France should experience a little bit of both.
