As fantasy sports have become a multi-million dollar industry, many web sites and media outlets have begun dedicating more time to covering fantasy sports and providing information about them. If you visit any of the web sites listed above, you will find extensive, in-depth analysis of all fantasy sports. Some sites charge for the customer to be able to read this information, while others offer it for free. Doing a simple web search for “fantasy sports” will lead you to hundreds of other sites at which you can learn more about how to play, strategies, etc.

The Internet is not the only medium through which to receive information about fantasy sports. A simple trip to the local bookstore will show you this. Not only are there all kinds of books published regularly about this hobby, but the magazine section will be full of all kinds of fantasy sports periodicals. Even the mainstream sports periodicals, like Sports Illustrated and The Sporting News, dedicate part of each issue to fantasy sports. ESPN’s 24 hour news station features a daily spot called “Fantasy Focus,” in which their resident fantasy expert analyzes that day’s events in whichever sport is in season. And fantasy has an especially strong presence in sports radio. ESPN Radio has a weekly show also entitled “Fantasy Focus,” and many other mainline sports stations offer regular fantasy programming. XM satellite radio, which is the premier satellite carrier of Major League Baseball, has a daily fantasy baseball show on its own baseball coverage channel, MLB Home Plate (channel 175).
