The important features of your jogging stroller’s design will determine how heavy, durable and comfortable the stroller is and how well it absorbs the bumps you’ll be encountering throughout your adventures.

o       Stroller Frames: Purchasing the right frame is as important as purchasing the right wheel. Frames on jogging strollers are universally superior to regular strollers, but some are still better than others. Like wheels, choosing a rust-proof frame made of alloy or aluminum is the best choice so the frame will last long lengths of time. Some frames are made of steel tubing that is strong, but will rust eventually. Steel is also a heavier material, which may cause problems if you will be pushing baby up hills.

o       Shocks: The latest trend in jogging strollers is a stroller equipped with shocks. Although shocks aren’t necessary since the general design of jogging strollers minimizes bumps, they are a nice feature to have if you plan to run on rough terrain. And baby will surely appreciate them!

o       Fabric: It is a good idea to choose a weatherproof fabric for your stroller that is very durable. The fabric should also be removable and washable. If you plan on jogging at night, choose a reflective fabric that will alert drivers of your presence.
