Egypt is associated with many varieties of animals that grace the lands and depending on whether it is further towards the coast or on inland deserts will result in a particular animal residing in the area.
The most common animals are camels, buffalo and donkeys and in terms of desert wildlife, you are most certainly going to come across jackals, desert fox’s, lizards and some types of venomous snakes.
As a whole, Egypt is known to be one of the greatest centres that breed the well known Arabian horses with large government controlled stud farms under the Egyptian Agricultural Organization. Within the same area you will also find some 200 species of migratory birds and over 150 local birds such as the pink flamingo, heron, stork, quail and many varieties of eagles and owls.
