It is best to visit an area where the weather is warm but not to the point where you cannot survive, if you visit Egypt then it is vital to expect warmer temperatures due to the large number of surrounding deserts.
Areas such as Alexandria and neighbouring coastal communities tend to be milder but in areas like the capitol Cairo and more of their inland areas, it is less likely to get much of a breeze and in most months of the year, it is not common for the sun to be a scorching 50 decrees in certain parts of the area.
Rain does fall in Egypt along the coast and less likely towards the inland but it is difficult to predict and during the winter months (November to February) the temperatures can easily fall below freezing. Spring is normally mild but this time of year normally is subject to the Khamaseen, this is hot and bitter wind with extreme sand and dust storms which make it impossible to see.
It is said the best time to visit Egypt is in the summer when all the storms that usually occur in Spring or Winter have vanished but depending on where you stay, you cannot guarantee how the weather will be.
