·        Purge outdated content: If you are not careful, your website can become a basement full of junk. That’s right. Therefore you need to remove old pages often to keep the site under control and to provide you with space you need for newer content.

·        Old programs: One of the worst things that can happen is when a visitor comes to your site, clicks on a link to run a certain program and gets an error message that a certain file is missing or corrupt and the browser will close. This could be caused by an updated web page with the file having been removed and the link wasn’t removed. So make sure all pages have the links that are removed if they don’t work anymore.
