No matter what search engine or website you go to that offers pay-per-click advertising, you must test, test, and test again your ads. You may create an ad that flops. Or you may create an ad that doesn’t. The bottom line is testing ads until you find one that works. Whatever you do don’t start off with a large investment. Start small and work your way up. If your small budget is bringing in good results, raise your price. However, before you spend any money at all be sure to consider these facts:
 
·        Searches: How many searches are performed at the search engine per month? Is the search engine popular? Do they get a lot of hits?
·        Affiliates: How many affiliates does the search engine have? In other words, do they have many people involved in the pay-per-click advertising technique? Do they have a large customer base?
·        Opt-out: Can you opt-out or cancel your account if you are not satisfied with the results you are getting? Or can you just pause the campaign until you have more money to spend?
·        Fraud: Is there mechanisms in place to prevent fraud. There are so many people committing fraud today that it is necessary to recognize when someone is legit or not.
