If you want your cymbals to last a long time and to continue giving that quality sound, you need to clean them properly. The best way to clean a cymbal is to use the SABIAN Cymbal Cleaner. It is suited just for cymbals. The best way to keep the cymbal clean so as to avoid this is by holding the cymbal by the edges. This helps keep fingerprints off the surface of the cymbal. If you do get fingerprints on the cymbal, wipe them off immediately after use. Just use a dry cloth. Whatever you do, don’t use abrasives, scouring pads, or any kind of cleaner that is acidic.
