Cyndi O'Neal starts her day, every day, at the medicine cabinet with drugs to fight her Lyme disease.

Oneal was bitten by a tick in her yard several years ago and it changed her life. She now suffers from memory and liver problems, throat swelling and terrible joint pain -- and those are just some of the symptoms.

"I had a life up to 2002 and I'm having to figure out how to live now and I don't like it," Oneal told NBC17. "It took away everything that I loved to do, which was basically all outside. Now, just coming out here to see you, I get a little apprehensive."

Yikes! That's why I wear three cloves of garlic and a giant metal crucifix around my neck to work every day.
